Another muzzle draft: getting somewhere?
So I’ve used the form that I was sculpting last time and built the part that touches the face, with the overhead strap and all before making the cage.
I think it looks a lot better this time. Also a test for how to allow mouths to open (sI can’t really prevent it and bento rigging this is out of the question).
Ponyplay bits hotfix
Forgot to post it yesterday but I released a hotfix for all the bits with lever straps, a tiny bug caused the lever straps to remain hidden.
Another round of updates for this week.
Unless I broke something horribly, this should be the last round of product updates this week:
- Bento mesh head support for the KDC Classic Leather Muzzle.
- General optimizations and bug fixes for the KDC PonyPlay Bridle and KDC Wasp gasmasks.
BENTO Update for the stuffed ballgag
Just pushed out a long overdue update to the KDC stuffed ballgag:
- Bento head open-mouth animation compatibility.
- The text garbler now outputs text with clickable names (llurl/fancy links).
- Fancy links in lock/unlock messages.
- Further memory optimization.
- Lock/Unlock notifications are now sent to the wearer too.
- Some more memory reclaimed and tightening of logic code.
- Moved RLV activation in a more secure area of the command parser.
- Emote restriction exception not being cleared when the bit/gag is in the ‘off’ position.
- The updater should instantly trigger in dead realm and not require to be manually reset anymore.
Also some bug fixes for the classic leather blindfold, nothing major so don’t feel in a rush to update that one.
BENTO update for all the Ponyplay bits!
What is new:
- Bento head open-mouth animation compatibility.
- The text garbler now outputs text with clickable names.
- Fancy links in lock/unlock messages.
- Further memory optimization.
- Lock/Unlock notifications are now sent to the wearer too.
On a sidenote I also removed some clicker prims that weren’t that useful anymore and replaced the garbler/drool prim with a simple mesh to push the draw weight down a little. It isn’t much but every little bit helps.
Linden Labs removed the KDC/Ai Armbinder from the Marketplace.
Despite contacting support I haven’t managed to obtain a reply as to why yet. To be clear, they haven’t just de-listed it, they deleted the product, which means that the reviews for it are gone too.
I’m going to wait for them to tell me what the problem is before trying to re-list it.
Considering that Linden Lab moderates the Marketplace solely through user reports, whoever you are, I hope you are proud of yourself.
In the meantime, it is still available from the in-world store if you want one.
Offline prisoner storage.
The kind of place you would store useless space clowns in.
This is basically my take on something I saw while visiting places around the grid, it’s an offline “prisoner containment” storage.
Long story short: you pick a slot, then have 30 seconds to log off. Then the storage close and it displays info about the person it “contains”.
My main addition is that it handles 8 storage from a single script, plus you can send messages to the person if they have IM to Email, and there is a small feeding simulation for no reason at all.
I don’t know if I want to sell this, I’ve really put this together quickly and it’s not really to my usual quality standard.
More shaping tests.
I tried these by first building a general shape that the muzzle is ment to occupy.
The first one I kinda likes the overall flow of, I think that the shorter “inline” look is more “delicate” if that means anything.
I figured for a change I would try a different style to compare and built a more bulky one, supposed to be made of hard plastic.
No real progress today, but I think that, on top of making a “mold” for the general shape, I absolutely NEED to build the head harness first, the last picture got me stuck with my massive cage bars everywhere and no idea how to build a harness on top of it.
For the next step, I need to build a relatively “comfortable looking” harness. And then build the cage on top of it really. I’d argue that the cage design doesn’t even matter until then.
Yes, I’m way over thinking this.
New project underway!
Not much to show unfortunately, this is actually the second attempt, but I did not save the first one. I still don’t like it, the shape is … not right.
I think I need to build a “form” first before building any kind of lattice, get the general shape proper first.
Uh oh.
There was a slight error when I finalized the HUD and some of you might have some weird color names and no “tan” leather preset.
Just IM me and I’ll send you a fixed preset file.
