New release! The KDC Nose Hook!
It turns out that I couldn’t sleep last night and ended up adding an extra feature to the nose hook right before release hehe.
So where do I start… It follows the same “style” as the KDC Raider Harness Gag, it in fact comes with instructions, meshs and script add-on to add a mini nose hook to it. But it is really designed as a standalone piece.
The standalone is lockable, support tag plates, is made of a bunch of separate unrigged pieces to make it as convenient as possible to adjust to a given head (do not that I did not say “easy”…). It has its one styling HUD, and a little animation system to decide how much you want your nose “upturned” by the hook. (how much you can get away with is going to depend on the mesh head you are using)
It comes with 3 hook variations, just because I couldn’t decide which one to settle on.
So what did I add in last minute? Well there is a clickable element on top of the head that you can click and “drag” forward to pitch the wearer’s head down or back to pitch it up. I also recorded suitable sounds for it :3
As usual, you can find it at the KDC Main Store (with the usual 10% reduction) or from the SecondLife Marketplace.
Enjoy~
The Nekobuta addon is out!
Yet another addition for the Avara Hood, the Nekobuta addon! This one is a bit different because it comes with cute shiny ears. The script will recover partial commands from the hood HUD to get colors and material properties matched automatically. So you can go nyan nyan or buhi buhi to your liking. And since this is a separate attachment, it works great on other hoods too ^_^.
(I’ve included an A and B version that deform differently when adjusted)
The hood skins come with a chunk of options:
- Open eyes or strict-looking pepper hole.
- Plain and seamed versions, as well as their inverted counterparts.
- A special pink and teal variant, homage to Argrim, who was the main inspiration for this project.
- You can wear it with the mouth accessible, or fully covered by a mask.
As usual, you can get it from the KDC Main Store, with the usual 10% discount, or from the SecondLife Marketplace.
Enjoy!
The Syntex hood addon is out!
The Syntex hood add-on for the KDC Avara Hood is complete!
It took me a bit longer than I’d like to finalize everything (let’s blame the heatwave and definitely not my procrastination tendencies), but I think I really nailed the hybrid “hard plastic mask/soft latex hood” vibe. (It is heavy inspired by Shodan from System Shock 1-2)
It comes with the following options:
- Original, plain and seamed style.
- Normal & Inverted colors.
- Open, pepper hole and closed (blind under RLV) eyeholes.
18 different options in total.
I’m not sure if it is just me, but I get the impression that textures are compressed more on upload lately? I get a lot more artifacts in my normal maps than I normally would. Nothing I can do about it, obviously…
As usual, you can get it from the two usual places: At the KDC Main Store (10% off), or on the Second Life Marketplace. Enjoy~
Avara Hood: The styling update.
It is me again, with yet another Avara Hood update! (please don’t hate me…)
This update is part of the bigger push I’ve done to modernize and unify my blindfold effect, you’ve seen it with the classic leather blindfold, well it’s now the same effect with the Avara Hood.
The other big improvement is that I’ve finally implemented a change in how style cards work that makes the styling menu a lot easier to navigate, and a lot faster too.
Hood styles are now stored in pairs, as about 2/3rd of them have a matching inverted pair, you now have a dedicated button that inverts the currently active style. And for styles that don’t have an inverted version? Well it doesn’t do anything.
I’ve also changed menu traversal, so it requires fewer clicks to go around between categories and sub-categories.
All of this also means there is about 1/3 less style cards the script has to parse, which speeds up rebuilding the menu, and leave room for… More styles to come, I have a few ideas.
Because the new style card format is not compatible with the new hood, the new updated cards start with “skin2” and the old ones with “skin”. The new hood ignores the old cards, and the old hood one ignores the new cards… perfect, right?
Only those aren’t served by the updater… right, because I did not anticipate that it would ever be needed. I’ve already issued an automatic re-delivery for the marketplace purchases of the Malefica and Halloween Ghoul add-ons (If you got it from Patreon, you should go get the update from the gift terminal). For the in-world store on the other hand, I’m going to have to do this manually, so please IM me if I somehow forget to send them to you!
Iron Grip gag: the animation update
I’ve redone the base animation set for the Iron Grip gag from scratch, and added two alternate sets.
You can now configure which animation set it should use and create new ones (from your animations, or mix and matching).
Hopefully this should solve the biggest feedback issue I had on this item, and maximize the number of mesh heads it can be used with.
Tag plates “pride edition” released!
New Tag plates! I should have done something like this a long time ago really, but I did not think it was important for a long time.
You could say that it is technically a “pride month special”, but it is not time-limited like the Halloween ones and will remain in store as a normal product, the timing just happens to coincide.
As usual, you can get it from the KDC Main Store (10% off), and from the Second Life Marketplace, I’ve also added it to my Patreon goodie bag.
Classic Leather Blindfold Update!
The Classic leather blindfold update is out!
What is new:
- I removed the RLV implementation config card. As it is not needed any more (just on/off now)
- I also removed the RLV blindness fog color config card (the color of the root object determinate the color of the fog effect)
- Up/Down positions are now saved in LSD storage and won’t be lost to a script reset.
- Improved blindness effect, it should be consistent under all up-to-date RLV clients.
- Trimmed down the object complexity with box-shaped eyepiece click helpers.
The configuration flags have been renamed for consistency with other products, check the updated manual for details.
Upcoming blindfold update
I’ve been working on a blindfold update, a few general improvements, but the big one is to finally have a consistent and unified blinding code that (should) work with all RLV viewers.
The bulk of the last two days was fixing everything I broke previously 😛
I also have a slightly better way to select the fog/haze color now (and a few other small changes, such as LSD offsets).
The Iron Grip gag is out!
The Iron Grip gag is finally done! Yay!
As I mentioned before, April was a bit rough on me with a bunch of personal matters I had to deal with. This project should have been completed a long time ago. I took some extra time yesterday to push a tiny bit more code (config card flags) to get the same features as the Raider harness gag.
As usual, you can find it in-world at the KDC Main Store (10% off!), or on the Second Life Marketplace.
Enjoy!
The Prisoner Uniform is out!
The prisoner uniform is out! After something like what… four or five months now?
I’ve packed this release with an array of nice features:
- A customization HUD with 14 base textures and 5 stripe colors, and a tinting function to assist in assorting this uniform with those made by other creators.
- Two chest labels that can be filled with up to 5 alphanumeric characters and automatic kerning and text centering.
- Support for all four avatar 2.0 chest sizes, which makes it suitable for both male and female chests.
- Jacket and Pants variants with cuff “indents” to be able to wear cuffs over the uniform.
- Ankle, knee and thigh-high “tucked” pant versions to accommodate for more shoes and boot options.
- Separate jacket and pants that can be combined to save attachment slots and/or script count.
- I’ve actually designed it to fit over the KDC Micro bikini.
The package also includes texture templates, BoM alphas for Avatar 2.0 and “regulation” no-mod versions for role-play locations.
And despite the fact it is designed for Avatar 2.0, you should REALLY give the demo a try because as far as outfits go, it is really, REALLY forgiving.
As usual, you can get it from the KDC Main Store, or from the Second Life Marketplace.
Enjoy!
