The Prisoner Uniform is out!

The prisoner uniform is out! After something like what… four or five months now?

The prisoner uniform is out

I’ve packed this release with an array of nice features:

  • A customization HUD with 14 base textures and 5 stripe colors, and a tinting function to assist in assorting this uniform with those made by other creators.
  • Two chest labels that can be filled with up to 5 alphanumeric characters and automatic kerning and text centering.
  • Support for all four avatar 2.0 chest sizes, which makes it suitable for both male and female chests.
  • Jacket and Pants variants with cuff “indents” to be able to wear cuffs over the uniform.
  • Ankle, knee and thigh-high “tucked” pant versions to accommodate for more shoes and boot options.
  • Separate jacket and pants that can be combined to save attachment slots and/or script count.
  • I’ve actually designed it to fit over the KDC Micro bikini.

The package also includes texture templates, BoM alphas for Avatar 2.0 and “regulation” no-mod versions for role-play locations.

And despite the fact it is designed for Avatar 2.0, you should REALLY give the demo a try because as far as outfits go, it is really, REALLY forgiving.

As usual, you can get it from the KDC Main Store, or from the Second Life Marketplace.

Enjoy!

    Totally love it.
You did such a great job with it.

Thank you so much. *Sends a hug*

Is Avatar 2.0 an official avatar, or a third party? I’ve been trying Ruth2, but I have a lot of issues with the old Transparency bug when using Alphas, and the face doesn’t respond to the default expression animations (bad for gags).

  • Avatar 2.0 is a third party body, fairly ancient today. It was created by Utilizator Mode, that’s the body I still use today.

But for all mesh bodies, if you want to use BoM Alpha layers with them, it is important to make sure the body uses alpha MASK mode rather than alpha BLEND mode. Alpha blend mode will always have sorting issues.

Looks real nice, but sadly as I use the Kemono body (Also by Uti) this is it is a no go for me as just with the straitjacket (which was also fantastic) due to how the legs and shoulders are rigged things have to be made specifically for it to work.

  • I really need to figure out a good way to deal with Kemono >.<

  • Zayin (Matteste Elton):

Though it seems like Uti has a new body in the works meant to replace both the Kemono and 2.0 that makes use of the more modern features. We will have to wait and see how it turns out though.
