The KDC Morgiana Neck Shackle is released!
All done! The Morgiana Neck Shackle (it is a collar, yes) is out, right before pride month too.
I’ve included 3 simple variations:
- Studded outside with blunt spikes on the inside.
- Plain.
- (just added) Plain, but with blunt spikes on the inside.
It is a great fit with the rest of the Morgiana set and I think the studs add some much-needed contrast, but you still get the option of having wrists ankles & neck fully matched if you so desire. And I just liked the idea of inner blunt spikes as a “gentle incentive to comply”.
As usual, you can grab it from my little shop on the Second Life Marketplace, or from the KDC Main Store (for 10% Off). Enjoy ^^!
Morgiana collar in-world tests!
Getting towards the finish line on the Morgiana collar! Textures & LOD models are ready, I also got most of the code done. You can also see what it looks like without the studs. I’d love to do a release right before June rolls in, and I might actually be able to make it, but the release will most likely be sometime next week.
We’ll see what happens, right?
Another picture set of the Morgiana collar…
I swear this is one of the last times I’m taking pictures of the Morgiana collar high-poly model. I added all the dings and dents, punched the holes for the back ring (let’s hope it will show up in the normal map), finished the Low polygon model and unwrapped it (1024×1024 feels overkill, but I could not use 1024×512 efficiently like I did with the cuffs because the flat sections are much longer and would end up with a lower resolution, it also needs its own duplicate of the ring mesh, so there is that too), oh yeah and the logo is in place and on time (usually I forget).
I can always drop the resolution & repack if that’s too much.
Low-poly collar, TVs and more.
I resumed work on the Morgiana collar, The second half is modeled, but I had to redo some things on the first half (just to satisfy my mild OCD).
I also spent hours over the weekend putting together a (personal?) variant of the hired help uniform, not a big fan of using 2K textures, but it does look quite nice with all the stitching I added to it (also those are patch attachments, don’t ask).
Lastly, I don’t think I posted anything yet about the new brainwashing propaganda entertainment system I’ve installed in the Second Life Cell Block D-5, it is still a little rough around the edges. I will make better models, textures and more diegetic scripts, I hope ^_^.
New release! The Morgiana Wrist Shackles!
The Morgiana Wrist Shackles are out!
I hope this will reassure those who wondered if the ankle shackle set was just a one-off ^_^.
I’ve thrown in a small variant as a simple way to include the chain links to the package and show that these too, have optional bows on their surface (if you want to do something with them, because I did not).
As with the ankle set: Fully modifiable, PBR materials (no fallback), and chain sounds: I had to include the sound effects, but they are only used when you use the wrist to ankle binding.
As usual, you can pick these from the KDC Main Store (10%off!) or from the Second Life Marketplace. Enjoy :3
New release! The Morgiana Ankle Shackles!
The Morgiana Ankle Shackles are finally released!
This plain and hard-wearing design comes from our KDC branch in the sun bleached city-state of Qishan.
Due to limited access to quality steel and tooling, we had to be a bit creative and came up with a simple weld-free design that could be produced quickly on standard forge equipment.
Each cuff weighs more than half a kilo and features hand-forged rings & chain links with minimal finishing to keep product turnout high enough for the local slave trade. Despite the questionable raw material quality, it is more than enough to keep even the strongest tribes subdued.
A variant is also provided with a permanently attached section of chain running under the heel to keep these dancers light on their feet. (to be used with tiptoe mesh feet, some hand adjustment may be required between mesh bodies).
These are fully modifiable, use PBR materials (no fallback), and custom-made sound effects, such as chain rattling when the cuffs are chained together. (I spent an absurd amount of time recording these sounds).
As usual, you can pick these from the KDC Main Store (10%off!) or from the Second Life Marketplace. Enjoy :3
