Touch control

When both mittens are worn and locked, the user cannot touch or interact with any TouchBound objects ( with RLV, no objects at all ), excepted the mittens themselves, you will have to get these unlocked first to be able to use anything else.

NOTE: It means that to unlock yourself you cannot use rezzed keys, you have to use hud worn keys.

All other TouchBound compatible wearables will also be aware that you are wearing mittens, and even without RLV, and you won't be able to manipulate them yourself while both mittens are locked.

Bondage poses

This table contains all the special poses that the wrist cuffs can initiate, the source object the the first object that you click in the touch sequence, while the target object is the second object in the sequence.

Some chaining combinations will offer you to add a specific bound poses, if the current avatar limb configuration allows it.

Some poses only use one arm at a time, which allows you to either bind both arms in the same pose, or use a different pose on the remaining arm. Check the corresponding column.

Hand hiding options

As of the KDC Paw Mittens v15, 3 ways to hide the avatar hands are built into the mittens.

Bento pose

The mittens now have their own bento finger pose, if your hands “fit” inside the mitten mesh when the pose is playing, congratulations, you don't have to do anything else, each mitten has its own hand pose. If you wish to disable this feature, simply remove/delete the animation named “BACKGROUND_LOOP” in the mitten's inventory.

Alpha masks (system & BoM)

The mittens now come with alpha masks compatible with system UVs, and also Avatar 2.0 UVs.

You can wear them manually, or, if you use RLV, you can copy them into the following RLV folders:

  • #RLV/Alphas/KDC/Paw Mittens/Left
  • #RLV/Alphas/KDC/Paw Mittens/Right

The mittens will automatically try to wear/unwear the content of these two folders.

Mesh Body hiding script

The mittens now come with an extra script per mitten to show/hide hands for Avatar 2.0 mesh bodies. These scripts are modifiable so you can easily add support for other bodies.

These scripts can be safely removed or disabled if you do not need them.
